i got the pleasure of meeting Zdeno at a bruins Charity event. He is the nicest pro athlete i have ever met. So humbled and so kind. He asked me what i wanted to do in life, how is my hockey playing going, how many siblings do i have, where am i from. Guy is seriously the most kind hearted pro athlete i’ve met to this date. It kills me to watch the bruins and not see BIG Z out there playing. I really hope he stays healthy and can play the full season. Good luck BIG Z, much love from Bean town❤️

People like to hate on Z because he's old and obviously not as spry as he used to be, but that's not why teams want him. He has so much experience BECAUSE of how long he's been in the league and knowledge like that is invaluable especially when you have young players

Glad Chara is making the transition well,He will be sorely missed.What a super nice guy and a great captain.I always figured he would end his career here in Boston,and the part that really sucks is the fact that we couldn't have a proper send off (damn covid!)..I wish him much luck and prosperity.At least he went to my favorite team,after Boston of course..

I remember the bad old days of the Caps in the early 70s. They socked so bad they ran this promo called "Guaranteed Win Night," whenever a lousy team came to town. If they lost or tied, we'd get a free ticket to another game. Really paid off. ;-)
