A villian who is killed by going for the head-check A guy thinking that fighting the big powerful alien is the last thing he can do and there is nothing he got left to loose- check. A guy who has gone through trauma, been betrayed by people close to him, has lost people close to him, has a redemption arc and a mission he does not want to fail-check The billionaire saves the universe by killing the big bad guy and himself at the same time-check After the trauma the billionaire has went through, he chooses to live a different way of life and those who are close to him motivate to move on and fix it but he doesn't for some time. (This one is mirrored) When hulk snaps, everyone is relieved and antman says it worked, and thats when the army of Thanos gives them a suprise by destroying the compound. Nolan approached Snyder and gave us a great Superman movie in decades. Snyder was able to make Superman look cool, interesting and a character with real emotions. A true visionary film. BvS was unfortunately compromised by WB. Just look at how they had to announce that the island is inhabited...do you think that would happen in a Snyder movie? Doomsday fight couldn't be done in Metropolis where the people can see him sacrifice himself all because of destruction and death worries. Now in 2021 we are getting this raw version of crazy 4 hours uncompromising no bullshit interference or crowd pleasing generic surface level halfwit superhero flick. Keep arguing this is not Superman. Keep arguing Batman doesn't kill. Keep attacking Zack Snyder personally. Keep letting Disney melt your wallet with sub par film and generic standalone movies. Sometimes a great story can be told in 4-5 movies just like LOTR.
