  • I heard the NGesports AWPer could be Deathmaker. Not sure how likely it will be, coz I think I saw him recently playing with asking questions.

  • Hey! recently found the channel and it's perfect to listen in background and catch up on the Asia/Oceania scene! I also have a question for you guys. I recently listened a Finnish interview with allu. At one point they were talking about how ENCE even at their peak during 2019 with AleksiB used to struggle against Renegades (and later 100thieves). Allu said that Renegades was the only team Ence didnt want to play and that they were always very difficult to play against. What was surpirising is that even now allu wasnt really sure why that was. Only thing he said was that they felt like Renegades always knew what Ence was doing and gave props to Kassad. Natu also said that he still has flashbacks of JKS with the Krieg lol. Did you guys follow this matchup in 2019? Why do you think the boys gave ENCE such a hard time?

  • In regards to match fixing that was talked about towards the end. Bleh brought up online cups and their coverage on HLTV and Liquipedia. My question is how far do you think the responsibility should go in regards to such things? For example betting sites (such as GG.BET which sponsor or have sponsored in the past large Tier 1 events by ESL and DreamHack) will add basically offer odds on game we cover on Liquipedia. We already do limit events and matches we cover by excluding anything that is considered an "amateur" level tournament or anything we consider to be fake or suspected of involving match-fixing but as Bleh pointed out we do still cover many more events than HLTV, including in Asia and China. We also exclude some matches from ever featuring on the front page of the website on the match ticker (live, immediately upcoming, and most recently concluded) based on similar criteria, so they can only be found if users search for the tournament specifically. Back to the question though, how far should responsibility fall? Should we take a stronger stance on Asian events? Should betting sites be the ones who check each match or tournament before offering odds on it? Or maybe some even more drastic measures are required?

  • Thank you for the answers. The reason I ask the ATK VS CRNB question is that African CS is now shoehorned into middle eastern CS due to the lower level of competition there. As a result, at least on a technicality, African region is part of Asian region in CS terms. Here's my questions: 1. Can ESL/DH bar African CS teams from signing up for Asian qualifiers? 2. What's happening with Divine Vendetta? Apparently there is a roster change after failing to qualify for PAL fall. 3. Has ESIC reached out to 5E to request demos for coach bug investigation? 4. Will Flashpoint/Blast expand to Asia and Oceania?

  • When you speak about bargaining power is there anything to think about with RMR points, if jkaem and JKS leave theres only 1320 point loss and if they win or come second at newyork the aussie three surely have some leverage there? Would still be in the top 3 RMR teams in the region.

    • That's a good point that I hadn't considered, though I'm not sure it would be that relevant in the eyes of orgs given we don't even really know what is happening with the major at this point.
