  • I didn’t know South Dakota had courses with so many trees (never been). This looks like a fun track for sure. Good commentary as well guys, keep it up.

  • This is the best coverage of disc golf, that I have watched. Very professional commentary. 👍

  • Great coverage but azy course design. How much thought does it take to put every basket 6 feet in front of tree?

    Wayne BryantWayne Bryant2 kuukautta sitten
  • Garett only has one "r" in his name. I'm calling the police.

    Garrett RussellGarrett Russell2 kuukautta sitten
  • Man, these greens. Almost every hole has thick trees less than 15' from the basket. It's a fine thing for a couple, but they should really open them up and cut back some of the circles. You can tell Cale is pissed. Bad design. Good coverage though!

    • @Shaun Gates I lived in Oregon for 12 years after growing up in South Dakota. I know all about the tight woods there. These greens just seem silly at times and could easily be cleaned up it looks like to make it play better. And I believe he corrected himself about the west side comment.

    • Try discing in oregon. This course is very open compared to others. Also, since when is aberdeen on the west side of SD?

  • I like that overhead shot analysis line card overlaid on the hole for each player at the end, pretty sweet. Although I think it would be nicer if it was a drone photo with some enhancements for visual indication rather than an entirely computer generated graphic.

  • OK, someone help me out here, I am lost. What is with disc golf commentators all using the word shule (sp?) shoal (this is a word, but it is in reference to fish schools) Schoul (?) in reference to a copse of trees? I don't think the word all these people are using is a word... If it is, someone please give me the spelling.

    Joseph MichelsJoseph Michels2 kuukautta sitten
    • @Stephen Daniels You're a scholar! Thanks for the investigating, my mind is more at ease now whenever I hear the term used.

      Joseph MichelsJoseph Michels2 kuukautta sitten
    • @Joseph Michels On DG Course Review there's an 18-page thread that's quite interesting regarding schule. On page 14, Todd Branch of the old WInnicrew of Michigan mentions he picked up the term in Florida in 1988. Others posted in the thread that the word is derived from an old Scottish ball golf term that's been around for centuries. Quite an interesting thread.

      Stephen DanielsStephen Daniels2 kuukautta sitten
    • @Stephen Daniels Seems like another goose chase though, as the word is still unknown except for the usage of it by disc golf commentators alike. But I think you're onto something more than I, well done. Now, more people on the internet rally to figure out this term or word!

      Joseph MichelsJoseph Michels2 kuukautta sitten
    • Apparently the term "shule" has been around for quite awhile. The first I'd heard the term is during the 2000 Worlds in Ann Arbor, MI, when Dan "Stork" Roddick (PDGA #3) mentioned it several times during the commentary. He uses the term in reference to thick brush off the fairway, not necessarily a copse of trees. Where or when Roddick picked up the term I can't say, but it has obviously been around awhile.

  • How did you guys get Joe Rogen to help with the commentary lol

  • Not sure why one of the commentators laughs after most of his comments. Great coverage, both commentators are good but I thought the awkward laughing was distracting.

    • @Jesse Will I’m the same way two fingers doesn’t feel like a solid grip to me, while one finger feels great and I too have a better forehand than most of my friends

      Caleb Grizzlyman89Caleb Grizzlyman892 kuukautta sitten
    • I can't seem to make 2 fingers work. My friends all give me hell for it, but 9 times outta 10 I out drive them so... 🤷‍♂️
