  • He would be 100 pts already if he had more points against MTL this year. For some reason, except for a 3 pts game, MTL shut him and Draisaitl down. If Mtl finnish third, it would be a very interesting first play-off round. Maybe he will explode because of frustration, or MTL will shut him down again. Or, the second and third line will step-up and back him for once.

  • Well just another day in hockey. Hey boys we are in last you can still win a couple for us fans. Schmitt nice goal even thou you messed up in the 1st real good. Pearson very nice goal and Brock beautiful goal. At least it wasn't a shut out. We need to get Schmitt out of here. GG Oilers. GO CANUCKS 🍻🍻🍻🍻

  • Vancouver, please do not get rid of Hamonic! He may not be an offensive defenseman who puts up swaths of points, but he does the little things correct such as blocking shots and winning the puck battles in the corner.

  • To think that the Oilers could have a fantasy line of McDavid, Draisaitl, Nugent-Hopkins, Barrie, and Nurse is just sensational, and this is from a Canucks supporter!

    • @Dubb Swayy yeah but only 7 forwards signed. For me Larsson is the priority Dman to sign. And nuge before Barrie. Barries going to be looking for at least 6 mil in a flat cap. He's having a career year and almost a point a game. Yes had a lot to do with playing with McDavid and Draisaitl and he knows that but... it's the best season of his Career in a contract year. He's going to be looking for coin. If Klefbom doesn't return sure but you have Klefbom signed at $4.167 for 2 more seasons.

    • @J K You say this as if he's not 24. Dude still has roughly 10 years of top tier hockey left. More if he can stay healthy (knock on wood). Besides, once those bad contracts start to expire and they can actually give McDavid a supporting cast. Watch out.

  • Fire Green soon after the season is completed. Everybody gets a ribbon coaching style belongs in school yards ( maybe ). This team have no hunger to their game and in fact when JT Miller gets angry and upset with the losing it seems it's unaccpetable in Vancouver...😐

    deonaldeonal4 päivää sitten
    • @Sevastian Donahue Bahhaaha those guys are hardly missed. This current team is the softest team in the HISTORY of the Canucks organization - it's Kumbaya hockey coming from a peacnik coach. Embarrasing - even Bieksa commented on the buttery soft Canucks in one segement on HNIC between periods.

  • Canucks need a coach! Look at Tippet's work behind the bench since he took over. See how a few tweeks by management complimented Tippet with a supporting cast of players in a tight budget cap situation. Green's lollipop n rainbows - kumbaya hockey is an embarrasment to the game. The Canucks show no desire or passion, alway starting games or periods flat ffs.

    • Not a Canucks fan but to be fair though, they just simply got flooded with bad luck this season. With the amount of injuries they had, and then the covid issue that kept them away for weeks. It’s just bad season overall.

    • @Adam Zahariuk no 150 in 82 (which is one he would be on pace for in a 82 games season) would be more than enough to be ranked as high or higher than gretzky.

      ChessChess3 päivää sitten
    • @Chessif he ever gets 170 or more in a 82 game season or even 199 or 200 pts then he can enter the chat with Lemieux and Gretzky

      Nightstalker_55_420Nightstalker_55_4204 päivää sitten
    • @Aran Thranduil Gretzky had an uncanny sense of the play, easily the greatest hockey sense ever. He knew where the puck was before it was there. McDavid doesn’t have that. It’s about 30-33% harder to score in the modern era- so if you take 33% of all of Gretzky’s points, he is still first. Gretzky is the GOAT, maybe McDavid will be one day (I doubt it as he’d have to have 20 150 point seasons or something) but Gretzky is the greatest.

      Alex EAlex E4 päivää sitten
    • @Rafael X Amorim yes, he was ahead of his time, and revolutionized the game. He doesn't look very good skill-wise on highlights because the overall skill level was lower in the 80s, but I think the only fair way to compare players' greatness is by basing comparisons on what they did in their own era, not what they would have done if they played in a different era, because we'll never know. People say "Gretzky would have been so bad if he had played in today's NHL," and honestly, I doubt it. Had he grown up in the last 20 years, with higher level training and competition, his work ethic and determination would still have pushed him to the top.

      Aran ThranduilAran Thranduil4 päivää sitten
    • @Dean-o B was Gretzky even that good skill wise

      Rafael X AmorimRafael X Amorim4 päivää sitten
    • @Nightstalker_55_420 Probably the best season in the modern era.

      Dependant iOSDependant iOS3 päivää sitten
    • @Dependant iOS McDavid was injured last season for a long time and during that time Draisaitl made more than 1.5 points per game... so yes, he proofed it. Also he is serving a lot goals to McDavid as well, so what's your point? Look at his assists. And he also scored 50 goals in one season, so he can score as well. He is def. in the Top 3.

      SonatineSonatine3 päivää sitten
    • @Sonatine i agree that McDavid and Draisaitl are the best duo in the NHL, but would Draisaitl really be that good without McDavid? A top 20 player for sure, but i dont think he’s top 3

      Dependant iOSDependant iOS3 päivää sitten
    • @MrSharkFIN Yeah, I mean everything around 1.5 is already top-notch but 1.8 is like Lionel Messi in football. McDavid is by far the best player in the world and Draisaitl def. belongs to the Top 3 in the NHL.
