Marcus Rashford vs The Government...

Marcus Rashford is leading the fight against poverty/hunger in the UK by asking the government to fund free school meals. This will ensure that children get the food and nutrition that they deserve at such a young age.

  • There’s no such thing as a free lunch ( or school dinner), but I do know a man delighted with the “free booze” he got with the vouchers intended for feeding his offspring. I work for a charity, helping to feed people. Rashford’s “more handouts” simplistic idea doesn’t help, it just makes ignorant people feel good supporting it. The issues of people not coping with feeding their children are more complicated, but don’t need more taxpayer’s money. It’s a bit of a kick in the teeth for those dedicated people really helping, when people fawn over the frankly clueless and virtually useless Rashford, rather than supporting those doing something really useful.

We have plenty of working poor in here and a handful of billionaires who hav more wealth than the majority of the country put together and there's no way they could've worked harder that 150 million+ people! It's all a scam trying to pit the people against each other while they're dodging taxes and shifting the burden into you and creating more inequality in your country which then result in more addictions, suicides, crime and mental illness...

  • Governments always relied on public figures or private organizations to do all the charity work. As a prize, they give those public figures/organizations huge tax breaks. (what else is new?) Charity is pocket change compared to the taxes they should be paying. Government/politics view these superstars as "piggy banks" to help the poor/sick. Doesn't matter the age. They are pushed to intervene in this matter, regardless if government looks bad. It gives them leeway to invest in other the military or overpriced construction to feed their lobbies...While the rich, again, keep helping them out with the "social issues dept". So, lets not be naive. Believe me, if i earned the same amount of money as Rashford or any other rich identity? What? Help the poor AND pay less taxes? I would invite the homeless, feed & cloth them, and, make their beds while they're having breakfast in my kitchen. But the government won't even let you do THAT...No way, that's incorrect propaganda. It's like saying..."Calm down boy, don't be that human." Government is fine with those that speak-out their indignation, bcs, they actually "$upport them". I'm not saying that these people are souless, but sadly, there's always a machine behind a soul that means well, especially, behind those that have a status or an influence in society.

It never ends it's a vicious circle.mynfirst experience of politics was in the 80's with thatcher when she had just taken over so about 1979-1980 britain wasnt struggling then she came in and things changed from about 1985 ish people started to struggle and she treated the non rich similarly to how it is today. It's just happening all again, labour were in charge in Bout 1996 to 2010 and we were better of and now we are back to how things were.. I could and did tell people how evil the torys are and not many people believed me,they believed to belive the words coming out of May's and Johnson's mouth. The government are fucked, they should help the children. End of, billions or not, if they were so good why is the country regressed so much in the last 10 years. Crime, corona, fuck me so much they’ve done bad. And this is coming from someone who would probably vote for them over labour. They need to be held accountable. • @martin sheridan I agree. Do not have kids if you know you can’t feed them. But no matter what you are, tory, labour, left, right, centre. Surely we can all agree that it’s not the children’s fault. It’s not their fault their parents can’t feed them, be that because they’re just inept or they’ve lost their job or whatever. The children haven’t done anything wrong and the government should do everything they can to help. The government are horrific, they’re terrible. Although i understand that they are probably the best of a Bad bunch in the eyes on many people, which is why they got in. Hes not a politician: Tories are used to their battles on common ground [Westminster] and cant dismantle him outside of it. Hes not jealous: He's a self made man and has money. Hes lived it: He speaks from experience without alterior motive He didnt have to make a stand but has: He could have made a donation quietly, or did some 'empty' charity work but hasnt - hes made a stand He cant be bought off: Most get an MBE and get silenced - but he continues to do what he does as getting awards isnt the end goal - feeding kids is.
