  • Do they measure to where it lands or to where it stops moving?

  • Let me just gets this straight, 216 meters is more like 700ft... dude is just multiplying by 3 and that's yards.. in meters its 3.2ft or some shit... and not one person said something about the clown doing the numbers what a disgrace

  • Just rewatching this. Correct me if I'm wrong, but 216m is way longer than 648ft. I get about 709ft for their tied distance. They didn't give distance in meters for the winning throw, but assuming the same incorrect math, that would be 725ft.

    Michael JonesMichael Jones8 kuukautta sitten
    • He said meters but it was actually yards.

  • 3:35 Guy says 216 meters equals 648 feet. WRONG! That is actually 708 feet! He multiplied by 3 which would be correct if you were talking yards instead of meters. Which brings me to the question. Was this entire competition measured incorrectly? WOW!

    Tech SandwichTech SandwichVuosi sitten
    • @whitesmoke hiding Aw! ok, lol. For a second I thought these guys were throwing over 700. He did say meters so how was I supposed to know right?

      Tech SandwichTech SandwichVuosi sitten
    • Of course it wasn't meters. Do you think Jennifer Allen is capable of throwing a disc over 500 feet? She doesn't throw faster than about 60-61 MPH, it takes a drive right around 70 MPH to throw that far.

      Brian WeissmanBrian WeissmanVuosi sitten
    • He wordered it wrong. It was in yards.. 216 yards.

  • 3:38 why do Americans ALWAYS divide or times by 3 to convert metres to feet?!?!?! 216 metres is NOT 648 feet! It's 708 feet. 1 metre is 3.28 feet, NOT 3 feet. I don't know how many times this needs to be said in the disc golf world until AMERICANS START TO UNDERSTAND!!!! Aaaaarggggggh!

      da324da3244 kuukautta sitten
    • @nelson van alden Since were the greatest country on the face of the earth and back to back world champs we can afford the privilege of such things as not giving a flying bald eagles ballsack about your conversion. Ps to my fellow Americans quit being a bunch of simps and apologizing smh

      josiah yorkjosiah yorkVuosi sitten
    • ... he misspoke its 216 yards which you multiple by 3... smart Americans understand people make mistakes and they figure out the real conclusion and not use dumb ass judgment..

      whitesmoke hidingwhitesmoke hidingVuosi sitten
    • @Nelson Van Alden No one cares.

      Ike TurnerIke TurnerVuosi sitten
    • Calm down man, I'm sure it's just a misstatement. If you do the conversions, the final distances are clearly correct when converted from yards to feet. Otherwise you're dealing with cartoonish distances, 700+ for the men and over 500 feet for the women.

      Brian WeissmanBrian WeissmanVuosi sitten

  • Why can't I be 6 foot with long arms.

    Judas BlewitJudas BlewitVuosi sitten
    • @Russ Mootsey I'll offer this explanation from my friend who is a trainer for top athletes in my city. Most of these top pros have never worked a real job in their life, which reduces any strain or wear and tear on their muscles and ligaments. That gives them a huge leg up on someone like you or me, because they will be able to put all of their energy into disc golf, while we stress our bodies with work. Think about how strong and athletic you were in high school. That's how the pros bodies stay throughout their careers.
