  • How to get saved if lost in the woods. 1. Build a bench and wait. 2. In about 15 minutes some elecsparktrician or turd wrangler will show up to pile stuff on it. 3. Follow him back out of the woods

    • @Rusty Broken @Rusty Broken I used to work as a cleaner in a factory, I can attest to this. All sorts of treasure atop those machinery housings, precision needle-nosed pliers, alan keys, ear defenders...all long-forgotten and coated in half an inch of factory dust so you know it's legit.

    • @Rusty Broken Nah I have a normal hatchback. Minis are famous for their ability to contain enourmous numbers of clowns though so the creepy-factor is quite high

  • Stupid question incoming: How did you learn all the things you know? You seem to know every step of manufacturing for any part, can guess the composition of an item by scratching the fuckin thing, and have seen things in use enough time to know what works and what doesn't and where the points of failure are going to be. I wanna be the guy someday holding a PBR blowing peoples minds going off on a tangent about voltages and chinesium too. Where is a good place to start?

  • 11 251 Son, ya got to pump those numbers up. BTW, good info, gonna do that on the old seeper diesel tank for the generator... 40M³ of diesel or as they call it "fuel oil" isn't going to waste in this fucken house far up north. How's the snow, we got up to the gutters in a fucking night last night, apparently the sun both rose and set but we didn't notice any difference. I miss the days of somewhat normal and predictable weather. These days you get snow up to the gutters and you shove it off and then it melts anyway... Fucking freezer full of deer and wifey makes bread... the fuck am I trying to prove shovelling all that snow just so a fucking cat can go for a walk... I need a new hobby.
