Thanks for watching! I highly recommend trying third-party foam tips if you're having trouble with the fit from the original ear tips 🤘
She’s sooo cute
The sennheiser sucks and hurt
you are very beautiful lexy
iOS does have an EQ: Settings > Music > EQ
@Lexy Savvides thanks 👍👍
I have problem for the static sound on mu airpod pro. Is there anyone has the same problem?
Great thing is that these Airpods Pro don’t get muddy after a long period of time due to earwax like the Original Airpods. You can just clean them easily and they will always sound as if they just came out of the box.
Where did you get those foam eartips?
What is the brand of the tips
Bought the sony wf xm3. Kept falling out. Returned. Bought the Airpods pro. Nice and secured. Sound quality is not as good as Sony's but at least they dont fall out.
Thank you Lexi for this review, I just got one this January and my! One of the best purchases I’ve made! Going from the Airpods 2nd Gen to Airpods Pro was a significant improvement over the latter and the ANC/Transparency Modes are the greatest feature I appreciated the most! Lovin’ them and will ❤️ them even more 😃
❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
RUN DMC!
Great review, and thanks for talking about sound quality, unlike so many others!
where you buy the foam pads?
is it good for playing hip hop, reggae, drum and bass ??
I love them green socks hhhmmmmm
Just got these today... I love my jlab executive for work.. but these.. these not only sound better.. rich quality bass and mids.. but the transparency mode is smoother and sounds less.... delayed... AirPods are so good.. there are other great ones but these r optimized for iPhones... they also form fit to my ear better.. my stockin cap doesn’t smash them into my ears.
At 2:25 I could see where the old candlestick park used to be.
I barely saved up for the first generation AirPods
Thanks for the battery life update
1:35 *turns down the bass* Woman moment right there
I’m getting them tomorrow for my birthday!!!!
@Lisa Vann they are great so far. Wasn’t sure if I would like them but they are great.
happy birthday ! how are you liking them?
Honestly 4.5 hrs is crap, can’t imagine myself getting these just so they work for 3 hrs months later. Even as an apple ecosystem enthusiast, i’d rather spend money on an earbud that last at least 6 hrs.
1:16 I love your style and outfit this one
One year on, my right side Airpods Pro starts "crackling" yesterday. Made an appointment with Apple, and they found both side of my Airpods are having issues, right side is more serious. Replaced both my Airpods together with extra eartips. Another happy customer.
Comfort is the most important feature for me. With the 1st Gen AirPods I would literally fall asleep without noticing them in my ear. They were sooo comfortable. How does the AirPod Pro measure in terms of comfort?
I love Lexy’s accent, and she’s really pretty
which ones are more comfortable, i dont know which to buy
someone has the link to buy the pads for the pro airpods, like the ones shown in the video alguien tiene el link para comprar las almohadillas para los airpods pro, como los que muestran en el video
Is it just me or does it look like she has a iPhone 12??👀
If you have AppleCare for the AirPods, if they only retain less than 80%, you can replace the batteries for free. So if it only last like 3 and a half hours you can definitely replace for free. I did some math base on the information I can find by googling the degradation rate, it seems like if you use 1800 hours/year your AirPods should still be pretty good condition after a year, the more you use it the worse the degradation is, at 2500 hours/year you will lose 10% and 4000 hours/year you will lose 20%.
Do you think should I buy AppleCare+ for AirPod pro? Did you buy AppleCare for your AirPods?
7:35 really should've cleaned them Airpods before the roll shot haha
If you have your phone in front of you it feels like the Audio is really in front of you smart words
Where you bought the black ear tips?
I found this video really helpful to learn about audio quality and I learned that special audio exists
Yeah, I had no idea spatial audio existed 😂 Amateurs!
Couldn’t stay awake with this review. Let’s add a little energy.
People watching cause they might get them for Christmas 👇🏽
oof, they were good for me initially but the noise canceling kind of "deteriorated". the bass is kinda crappy honestly. and I only use it with my iPad, because... well on Android it's fairly laggy and just not convenient. honestly it's kind of gotten annoying having to use my galaxy buds for my phone & my airpods for my iPad.
I have never given a thumps down before but I don't these people really know what they are talking about. Thumbs Down.
@Lexy Savvides The Executive Editor did not seem to have working knowledge of the other ear buds style and seemed to be mixed up in the presentation. Wanted to hear a well researched and well articulated review.
🤷🏻♀️ sorry you didn’t like the video. What did you want to hear more about?
Time to buy the AirPods max because everyone has the pros
The reviewer’s mouth looks like they’re permanently frowning 😆
😢
The overall package of sound, features, and form factor tipped the scale in favor of the AirPod Pro. They sound a bit better, but try carrying the Bose QC case in your pants pocket all day. The AirPod Pros are easiest to live with for me.
1:28 fun fact Headphone Accommodations help out with that, if you like a clean punch but still like to hear everything? It’ll balance out to your hearing by doing a sort of hearing loss test, it’ll play the sounds in low go high volume in both ears and after will equalize to your taste, that it thinks best. Not dramatic but will help make the bass punch a little more by dialing down the higher ends
Does anyone know if they leak sound? Like can people around u here ur music? Thanks
Does anyone got ear pain or ear problems after using airpods pro? i have had ear pain and just wondering is it only for me or it happened to anyone else?
You guys say other foam tips can be better, would have been nice if you put a link to them.
Link for small foam tips please? I also struggle with a tiny canal and buds falling out :/
Anyone notice the Tame Impala "Innerspeaker" vinyl that the airpods are sitting on in the beginning of the video? 😜
🙌
Just wish they weren't so ugly and uncomfortable. The regular AirPods is literally the perfect fit for me, but I need noice-cancelling and spatial audio :/
@Rinzler_ 72 Yeah im thinking the look just have to grow on me, I wasn't a big fan of the original AirPods, but now I think they look good, especially compared to competition. I think Apple just have a more bold look that may throw some people off at first (including me) but it's just about getting used to it, and then it grows on me.
Idk why people say they look ugly. They literally look fine
So I just got this a few days ago and I compared them with my original Gen 1 AirPods, there’s isn’t a huge difference on sound quality but what makes the Pro good is their noise cancellation and new controls but that’s about it.
Throes pure white appro are amazingly suspiciously clean 🤔
I returned mine and got the Jabra Elite 75t. Now, my ideal earbuds would have a combination of the sound quality, design, water resistance, and battery life of the Jabras, along with the first party apple convenience (I’m still an iPhone user) ANC of the AirPods Pro. Since they don’t exist though, I prioritised the features that matter to me most.
I just use the normal ones I use it only cus me is used to it I have been using it since it was realeased. They are in good shape so I just use them
When did “1st party” become a thing people say? The opposite of 3rd party is OEM.
I honestly cannot stand headphones with buds... no matter what style they’re so uncomfortable to me. I’m only considering the pros because I recently dropped one of my airpods in water now there’s an annoying static noise so only one of them is usable. If someone feels the same towards earbuds and has the pros, are they uncomfortable ? I’m conflicted.
@Cryptic great, thanks so much!
The beats headphones from Apple are way better. Battery lasts 2-3 days. And the sound is amazing. And they last longer from not having a battery degraded in 2 years
Just bought mine for $169 during this years Black Friday sale, waiting for them to arrive on (should be on!) Monday!
@ULGamezz Edited.
@ML In which country do you live?
@nickj12 In my country we don't have any sales on them, and they cost 400 dollars, because of tax.
I’m pissed I missed that sale. I ended up paying 199.99 at target for them a week later. 😢
How do you change EQ on Apple Music ?
Go under settings and then click on music then click EQ
I love bass and for me skullcandy is way better than airpods pro
You looked caked up with makeup.
The Airpods Pro don't have volume control on the earpiece itself, correct? thanks in advance
@nickj12 that’s the reason I’m not buying. Crazy to have to spend 10 seconds to have Siri up the volume, assuming she can figure that task out.
Correct
And the Answer is...just buy SONYs.
I recently got the pros! Because of the tips, it gave me a headache and my ear feels weird after taking them off 😅 But I think I just need to get used to it and limit myself on how long I should wear them lol. Or maybe I should exchange for the regular AirPods 🤔
@cathy xo no problem! They’re definitely cool headphones and I’ve had them for a year now (pros) but overall love love love my regular AirPods, had them since about the beginning and they’re so simple and don’t hurt at all! The pros hurt sometimes, but sometimes they’re okay lol, but agreed with cryptic, I definitely wasn’t used to in-ear headphones so it was an adjustment for me!
@bribaby123 thank you for the reassurance lol. I initially wanted the regular ones, but my friend convinced me buying the pros is worth your money. But I guess it’s not for everyone 😂 I want to be comfortable wearing earphones haha
I have both and definitely like my regular AirPods better, like I can actually leave them in and if I’m not playing music or anything I forget they’re there. I do like the pros on occasion, but feel like the tips are not the right size anymore, like when I laugh or eat they start to pop out a bit, and after too long they can give me a headache, so I prefer my reg ones more honestly.
Where to download the SoundID apps?
Are you a kiwi?
Tomorrow they will go on sale for 169.99 @ Walmart & Amazon 😎
Equalizer on Spotify or Apple Music changes every thing ! Bass is heavy she on something
Should I get them. Are they worth the price, and was the hype lived up to the expectations till now. Just want to know since you have them
Is it just me or has the transparency mode been getting worse?
I've used them daily ever since they came out, no regrets! They should be cheaper now definitely get em ;)
I like that Apple didn't come out with a pro 2 this year. These don't need to be upgraded for some time.
which is better this one or the sony
I think for a lot of people the big thing is portability. So many of the other options are harder to carry around in your pocket. I have the PowerBeat Pros and I like the way they look, feel, and battery life is crazy long, but the case is so large they don't get used that much...
A year in and I accidentally washed my airpods pro once. It screwed up the noise cancellation a bit but the sound is still fine.
Its been a year?
SoUnD QuAlItY Is mY fAvOrItE ThInG To tAlK AbOuT XD
Got them, use them, can't use anything else now. Most convenient if not best sounding. If you move throughout the day fast and want something which really works and not something that makes you work. Get the Airpods pro.
Mine is malfunction. Sometimes I can’t get one of the pods charged
Hey, try cleaning the silver colored tips on the bottom of the airpods and clean the inside of the case especially the bottom silver colored part with some q-tips. I'm sure it will work.
In my opinion, airpods pro has great bass. It has obvious and distinctive sub-bass around 30hz to 50 hz that I can hear it reaches deeply other than like any other headphone that subbass doesn't have clear definition because bass on those headphones around 60hz to 90hz is louder and stronger and covers up the lower bass and thus pleaseed many constmers and includes many youtube reviewers. Plus airpods pro has the greatest frequency separation and sound stage when playing symphony you won't hear instruments sounds clumps together. Overall airpods pro has more audiophile sound character in my opinion.
I don't know about that. I've had mine for a year my only problem is the lack of bass (well that and battery life). To each their own I guess.
True wireless buds are pretty much disposable. I’m on my second pair. First pair died. After 18-20 months they were unusable. After almost a year, both airpods were replaced due to clicking noises. Still, the battery is just as bad, even though they were replaced couple months ago. And one discharges 20% faster than the other, which is weird, because Apple said both buds receive signal, instead one receives and passes to the other. TWH need to figure out the battery issue. Maybe magnetically detachable battery section? I don’t know, but disposable headphones for ~$300 is too crazy.
Great review! Thank you and I love that you had Dave in this as well. Always love his input.👍🏾🎧🎶
Perfect. Thank you Lexy.
The jack of all trades is a master of none.
Thanks for the review, Lexy. I bought them last weekend and have the issue of them gradually loosening and falling out, no matter what size buds I use. When I revisited this video, I realized a small but crucial detail I overlooked i.e. you and the other reviewer needed extra foam tips. I should have seen it as a red flag but I guess cnet didn’t want to highlight this major issue in a pricy airpod, due to internal tie-up, commissions etc. Bit disappointed with the review due to this. Now I need to buy foam tips as well, as can’t risk returning them with covid in its 2nd peak in USA.
I have the pros and the Jabra 75T totally smashes the AirPod pros in noise cancellation and sound quality. Only thing that pros win at is being in the Apple ecosystem
I’ve been thinking of trying Apple AirPods Pro. I like my Sony wireless headphones but they aren’t noise canceling. I never really liked ear buds but I like Apple
I bought the foam tips but I didn't find any difference in noise canceling and they were not comfortable and made my inner ears to itch especially when using it for awhile so I went back to the original silicone tips.
at first I read her name as Sexy Lavvides. Idek know why my brain did that😭
Ive lost them atleast 12 times im so forgetful rn I lost my left one dw ill fine it in the next 2 weeks😂😂
Horrible. Had a pair and like many others I got a nasty ear infection from them. I don’t know what they make the ear buds from, but they smell really bad. A really awful chemical smell. This is not high grade medical silicon. Exchanged them for the AirPods 2. No problems at all with those.
I started expriencing connectivity issues on my airpods pro with my iphone 11 after updating to iOS 14 😢 can anyone help? i've done the press and hold of the button on the back of yhe charger, no progress.
@Samuel Gutierrez Bought both of them at an Apple authorized seller in the Philippines named SWiTCH.
Where did you buy it from
The sound profile of AirPods is neutral because they are CALIBRATED. Tweaking the equalizer for (mastered) music is just not the way to go, especially when trying to judge their sound quality.
Me:SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY wallet: what money?
Who makes the best foam tips?
Aussie aussie aussie oy oy oy!!
Do your AirPods rattle in your ear when running
Apple will replace them under warranty. I did it twice now
I use it everyday.
I remember when everyone was saying they was “ugly” , now everyone has them🤣
The original AirPods are still ugly. The pros are tolerable looking.
I still don't really like the stems but they look infinitely better than the regular airpods
There is an “EQ” in the Apple Music settings too but it lacks features and only provides preset options.
I just got these a few days ago haven’t even find any media to test spatial audio can anyone help me out?
Hello Lexy. I’ve had Cambridge audio melo mania for a year. 9 hours plus single use and 35 hours with the case still going strong. Hifi quality is still fantastic. They are great for air travel. not for gregarious users however. Passive noise cancelling is great. $100 cost. :-)
I love American women. One day I'll marry one and go live in the North - Nebraska or Utah. oh yeah...
My hinge move left right🥲
