  • I hope Oskari has already all the support from sponsors to do this full time, so he can put all his focus in it (after school of course). It's like watching Eagle playing when he was younger, but with even better consistency and focus. He will be top tier pro, no doubt about it.

    Sami MannilaSami Mannila9 kuukautta sitten
    • Yeah he is still in high school. He is in a sports oriented class so I think he can practice disk golf while in school even

  • Loved all the genuine reactions from Philo and Nate. Delaying the video to get the right commentary was the correct move, good job guys. Philo and Nate are great together, much improved from round 1 (tbh I didn't notice how negative Philo was until after I read comments)

  • Thanks Philo and Nate for the commentary! Relaxed and fun and almost felt being there. Some great throwers in the card. Competitive and at the same time a brotherhood. Nice to see these young faces like Oskari from my country Finland getting into the big competitions and make an impact. I love the spirit in this sport.

  • This likely won't be popular but I don't believe Philo is cut out for commentary. He's a first class golfer and perhaps a good dude but he is far too inwardly focused to excel at calling a round. Never mind his incessant interrupting, repeating himself, laughing far too hard at his own jokes, unwillingness to form consensus with his partner in the booth, disinterest in asking/posing questions etc.

    Ben DubecBen Dubec9 kuukautta sitten
    • He spoiled the final (twice I believe) in a roundabout way by saying players could keep up with (the eventual winner) when (the eventual winner) was tied with another player.

      Al JAl J9 kuukautta sitten
    • I disagree as well. Respectfully though. Nikko is very similar and they both burn with passion. Different flavor is all and given we have had Jomez duo for so long its hard to break away :-)

    • You're right, I am nit picking. His commentary is very good.

  • Is Oskari going to stay in the US and play the tour? I would love to see him more as he continues to develop.

    gryphonartgryphonart9 kuukautta sitten
    • He is playing in the Memorial in Arizona this week at least. He is barely 17 years old so I assume he is busy with school still. In case somebody didn't know, he crushed the competition in the Finnish nationals last summer. He definitely has the talent to be the European player to win something big.
